Got the children engaged. They were kind and knowledgeable people who did a really good job. Our daughter was inspired!
Astronomy Evening - November 2021
I enjoyed the Small Mammal Walk. I learnt to distinguish between mice, voles (didn't even know what they were) and shrews. I learnt how to make a paw print tunnel and about habitats. It was super to see the children engaged. And it really didn't matter that we didn't catch any little mammals in the traps. I was impressed with your knowledge, love and enthusiasm for your work and am happy to recommend your courses to anyone who might be interested.
Small Mammal Walk - April 2022
The guy who helped us was extremely helpful and we now have a telescope that we can use!!
How to Use Your Telescope Workshop - January 2022
It was a professional, yet informal and friendly event. I was on my own, but I felt included (thanks Becky). The walk was structure in a way that included time to talk about different aspects and have questions answered. As a person, who after a mini stroke, now finds it hard to retain information, I was wonderfully surprised and how much I remember and the plants, I have since been able to identify on my dog walks. I attribute that to the relaxed, yet professional nature of the morning. Trying the different foods and drinks at the end was brilliant too. That dandelion root coffee packs a punch! Will definitely be making it.
Spring Foraging Walk - March 2022
Claire was an absolute delight. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. A really enjoyable day.
