help us to connect people with nature

Donate

We believe in a world where people and nature can work together to regenerate the planet and ourselves. We improve our landscape’s biodiversity and engage young people and visitors in outdoor learning, while exploring better ways to grow food, live sustainably, and preserve our environment.  We seek new ways to farm and manage our land that can act as a model to others. We want to ensure that our practices are regenerative, whilst offering others the chance to learn from what we are doing and engage with our mission.

We provide

•    educational outdoor learning programmes for young people, particularly for those with special educational needs and disabilities or who may struggle in classroom settings
•    regular programmes, summer holiday and weekend clubs for children with additional needs including activities such as den making, growing and cooking food, bug hunting, foraging and environmental arts
•    volunteering opportunities with a focus on conservation, citizen science, getting out into nature and wellbeing
•    a proactive commitment to ensuring that our 500-acre estate is managed to promote biodiversity and habitat creation
•    community activities for families and local people to learn about how to conserve and protect our natural world
•    an organically managed 500-acre site open to all with free parking, public toilets, accessible trails and marked walks
