Event closed

We're sorry, this event has now passed.

Gather around the moth trap with our ecologist guide, Tom Forward, and be amazed by the variety and beauty of the moths caught overnight. We'll then take a wander through the beautiful wildflower meadow and gardens in search of butterflies on the wing.

Enjoying learning a little more about why these delightful insects matter and what we can all do to help. Walking may include uneven ground and long grass, covering a distance of 2km, so sturdy footwear, walking boots or wellies recommended.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Suitable for age 8+ (however younger, interested children able to cover the walking distance are welcome).
