Come along and play with some green wood - this course is aimed at the novice outdoors-man or outdoors-woman, and will cover axe and knife safety, tool selection and instruction in spoon whittling! You will take home a finished spoon. Please indicate at the time of booking whether you are right- or left-handed.
Please wear sturdy shoes or boots at all times. Please also wear warm, comfortable clothes that are suitable for the current weather conditions. You may be outside for some of the course.All other tools and materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring along any interesting tools!
This course is run in conjunction with The Ash Project which has been set up in response to Ash Dieback disease, to mark and celebrate our Ash Trees before it's too late!
The course costs £45pp.

Depending on availability, we can offer B&B at Bore Place for course participants from £61 per person/night. Camping opportunities are limited; we have a hot shower and toilets, but no cooking facilities. It is essential that you contact us in advance to book either camping, or bed and breakfast.
