Teddy Bears' Picnic

Monday 31st July 9:45am - 1:00pm

Child tickets: £15.00

If you go down to the woods today...

Younger children will have a wonderful morning exploring our vegetable garden to spot the hiding bears amongst the seasonal produce and harvest some cucumbers and tomatoes.

To prepare the picnic, they will make fresh sandwiches with our harvest (or even with some Bore Place honey, bears love honey!) and bake delicious scones. While the scones bake we will meet our herd of dairy cows and then enjoy our picnic together with our bears (and a story or two) in the Green Man Glade.

This session is most suited to children aged 3-6 years. Older or younger children are welcome to attend if parents/carers wish to book.

Adults and teddy bears come free! Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please arrive from 9:45am for a prompt 10:00am start.

Please note that all our summer holiday events include time spent outdoors around the farm, gardens and trails, so come prepared for the weather conditions with suitable clothing that won’t spoil if it gets a bit dirty and sturdy footwear.
We recommend sun hats, sunscreen, long-sleeved clothing for sunny days and waterproofs is there is a chance of rain.
Don’t forget your wellies which are essential for a visit to the farm!
