Help build the Community Garden at Bore Place
Our new Community Garden is taking shape! Watch a brief overview of the project here. After a fantastic response to our call for help planting the orchard and creating no-dig growing beds, we're now ready for some construction! Join us for for a hands-on volunteer day to help shape this new space from the ground up.
The day will start with an introduction to the project and the plans for the garden - including how you can get involved more reguarly, if you would like to.
Over the day, we're hoping to work on:
- Stock fencing
- Shed guttering
- Building the chicken coop
- Contructing the compost bays
Whether you'd like to come along as a one-off, or you're interested in getting involved longer-term, we'd love for you to come and meet us, and find out about how you could get involved with the garden.
The day will be in two halves, so you're welcome to come for the morning, afternoon, or all day - if you can, let us know your plans in the "requirements" box when booking.
Morning session: 10:30-12:30
Lunch: 12:30-13:30
Afternoon session: 13:30-15:00
