✨🌙 Astronomy Evening
Join the Edenbridge and District Astronomers for an evening under the stars at Bore Place. Bring your curiosity and enjoy the chance to look through powerful telescopes while exploring the night sky. The team will guide you through observations, offer tips for what to look for throughout the year, and answer questions about getting started with astronomy at home.
If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll still have engaging indoor talks and/or demos.The evening is informal and led by the skies - we'll be taking advantage of any breaks in the clouds for observing.
Suitable for all levels: no previous experience or knowledge required. Hot drinks and cordial provided.
Important Info:
- Dress for the weather and wear boots for outdoor observing.
- Suitable for interested children aged 8+. If your child is younger, please call us to discuss before booking. Children must be accompanied at all times.
Please note tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else (please let us know the name and email address of the attendee), otherwise your ticket fee will be considered a donation to the Commonwork Trust.
