Come along and play with some green wood - this course is aimed at the novice outdoors-man or outdoors-woman.
Join tutor John Waller for the day to learn about axe and knife safety, tool selection and instruction in spoon whittling! You will take home a finished spoon. Please indicate at the time of booking whether you are right- or left- handed.
Start time: 9.30am tea/introductions for 10am start.
Lunch: approx 1pm - 2pm please bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks will be provided.
Finish time: approx 4.30pm.
The course is run by John Waller, Underwoodsman at Bore Place and owner of the Green Wood workshop.

Depending on availability, we can offer B&B at Bore Place for course participants from £61 per person/night. Camping opportunities are limited; we have a hot shower and toilets, but no cooking facilities. It is essential that you contact us in advance to book either camping, or bed and breakfast.
