Tracking & Trailing

Event closed

We're sorry, this event has now passed.

Be a wildlife explorer!

Join our wildlife expert for a family nature walk to explore the Bore Place trail looking at all things wild that make the farm, meadows, glades and ponds their home. We’ll be learning about tracks, signs and scats left behind by some of our more secretive wild animals, checking the trail camera for evidence of nocturnal mammals, playing stalking games and making a walking staff to help us along the way.

This session is most suited to children aged 6-11 years. Older or younger children are welcome to attend if parents/carers wish to book.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who can come for free!)

Please arrive from 9:45am for a prompt 10:00am start.

Please note that all our summer holiday events include time spent outdoors around the farm, gardens and trails, so come prepared for the weather conditions with suitable clothing that won’t spoil if it gets a bit dirty and sturdy footwear.
We recommend sun hats, sunscreen, long-sleeved clothing for sunny days and waterproofs is there is a chance of rain.
Don’t forget your wellies which are essential for a visit to the farm!
