'Proper' Pizza

Tuesday 15th August 9:45am - 1:00pm

Child tickets: £15.00

Make your own fresh pizza!

‘Proper’ because it’s made from scratch and the toppings freshly harvested too (apart from the cheese!).

Children will explore our organic vegetable garden to harvest some vegetables for their pizza toppings. Back in the kitchen they will learn how to make bread for their pizza bases.

While their pizzas cook there is the opportunity to have a tour of our farm and meet our dairy cows, before enjoying their delicious fresh pizzas in our gardens.

This session is most suited to children aged 8-12 years. Older or younger children are welcome to attend if parents/carers wish to book.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who can come for free!)

Please arrive from 9:45am for a prompt 10:00am start.

Please note that all our summer holiday events include time spent outdoors around the farm, gardens and trails, so come prepared for the weather conditions with suitable clothing that won’t spoil if it gets a bit dirty and sturdy footwear.
We recommend sun hats, sunscreen, long-sleeved clothing for sunny days and waterproofs is there is a chance of rain.
Don’t forget your wellies which are essential for a visit to the farm!
