Yoghurt Making Workshop

Make delicious live yoghurt from scratch...
Learn the skill of making yoghurt using your senses and common sense adaptations. During the workshop you will not only learn to make yoghurt using a starter culture but also learn how to develop your own starter culture. You will also learn to use your home's ‘warm spots’ with easy adaptations to incubate yoghurt. The workshop will end with a tasting session of Happy Belly fermented dairy products and the opportunity to discuss the cultural history of dairy fermentation and the powerful support such foods provide in building immunity and general wellbeing in us. You will all receive a pot of Happy Belly yoghurt to take home to apply your newly aquired yoghurt making skills or just enjoy eating!
The workshop will be led by Rachna Jhala, the founder and director of Happy Belly Foods. Rachna has been making her own yoghurt at home since she was a teenager and is passionate about sharing her skills and knowledge about probiotic diary foods with the community.
Suitable for all levels, no previous experience or knowledge is necessary. Tea and coffee will be provided.
