Opportunities to gain skills and experience in a supportive and nurturing environment
We aim to give people the chance to gain the skills and experience they need to enter the job market. Opportunities are wide ranging and would suit anyone studying or training in the following areas: organic farming, dairy farming, teaching, sustainable development, therapy, office and business administration, horticulture, cooking or housekeeping.
Work placements on the organic dairy farm
We offer over 28 weeks of weekly work placements to students interested in gaining work experience on our farm. Students work directly with the herdsmen and have the opportunity to partake in a wide range of activities. To enquire about a placement please contact Martin Roberts who coordinates and supports all work placements on the farm. Martin will happily discuss what you are looking for and share with you dates when placements are available. Contact Martin at MartinR@boreplace.org.
