The gates to Bough Beech nature reserve are opening for a special day celebrating the month of May.
- Roam around the meadows, exploring the grasses and wildflowers and hunting for bees and other insects
- Get up close with a hairy bee!
- Get crafty and make a seed box, perfect for a windowsill or other sunny spot, and sow some seeds for the pollinators, get arty with Hapa Zome printing, make a bug snug to take home and fly a whirly bee...
- Become a citizen scientist: find out about the cititzen science projects at Bough Beech and Bore Place
- Find out how to go wild in your own garden! Learn how you can help wildlife in your own garden and outdoor spaces - what flowers to grow, and how to provide water and shelter
