Key information

Free Event

We are excited to announce three, free pilot sessions of a brand new theatre games group, open to all ages 6+. And we mean ALL ages; you might be 7, 47 or 97! You might come alone or bring a friend, parent, colleague, grandchild, neighbour… No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. We will meet each other as equals, through theatre games and playful exercises. We welcome the curious and adventurous, the shy and nervous, the seasoned and green. We would like to play at drama with you as if the world mattered, as if we all mattered. Everyone’s voice and everyone’s way of being is invited.

What will happen in a session? We might share games to get to know each other, or have conversations about what we love doing; we may listen to each other's stories or dreams, and unfold them in new and surprising ways. There will be space for each person to engage however suits them best.

The sessions will be led by Kristin Fredricksson and Matilda Leyser, from Improbable.

Improbable are a company of improvisers, theatre-makers and facilitators who are hoping to make our home at Bore Place. This group is one of the seedlings we’re planting as part of this new partnership. Come and help us make it grow! To find out more about our work go here: www.improbable.co.uk and to read more about our home-making project, which we are calling 'The Gathering’ go here: https://www.improbable.co.uk/the-gathering

These pilot, exploratory sessions will run once a month for three months, from Jan to March. We would love to see you at all three, but please come along even if you can only make one or two.
Places are limited so please book your ticket below, though the sessions will be completely free.

What to wear/bring: Wear comfortable clothes that let you move easily. You could bring a snack and a water bottle; there is access to hot and cold water for drinks.

Any questions please email info@improbable.co.uk
