Get your kids outside and away from their screens for a morning of healthy old-fashioned fun! During this very active session the children will burn off some energy on a walk on a trail around our farmland, whilst collecting some natural materials to create a journey stick to take home. They will have a go at den-building and making a campfire and enjoying a well-deserved hot chocolate and toasted marshmallow at the end of the morning.
Important info
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (free of charge) who can supervise and support them throughout the event.
- Everyone attending (children and adults!) must wear suitable clothing for the activities and weather. It is essential to bring wellies for the farm tour, even if the weather is dry.
- Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the session is due to start to enable a prompt start.
This session is most suited to age 6-11, but you are welcome to book a place for older/younger children.
There will be time for a mid-morning snack if you want to bring one for your child, and you are welcome to use our picnic area after the event.
