The Arts Award encourages the growth of artists and arts leaders
The programme we offer at Bore Place supports individuals or groups, who might visit for one or more sessions, to develop their own creative pathways.
Students work on projects in an art media of their choice, aiming to foster independent working and progression into further education and employment.
Students are assessed on developing art form knowledge and understanding, creativity, planning and reviewing, and communication. We have experience in delivering all three Arts Awards - see downloadable programmes below - and can adjust the level of content and pace of delivery as required. Each student produces a portfolio or arts log to record their journey.
Drawing, painting, sculpture, design and photography are some of the options at Bore Place. A variety of natural materials and techniques are available: willow weaving; clay work, including brick making; natural weaves and dyes; fabrics; paper – including paper making; mosaics; candles and wax art.
Please contact Julie Easy (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information and bookings. More information about the Arts Award can be found at their website here.
