Capacity
We can seat 100 people for a sit-down meal at Bore Place. For stand up receptions or evening parties, we can accommodate 150 people. For larger groups, we are happy for you to hire a marquee that can be put up in our gardens.
Outside suppliers
We are very happy for you to use outside suppliers to provide food, service, a bar or other services such as marquee hire. We do not have a preferred supplier list – you are free to use who you like but we are happy to make recommendations of people who know Bore Place and have worked with us before.
Timings
We ask that music stops at midnight in the Large Barn but guests staying on-site are welcome to continue the party quietly in the main house. Guests who are not staying on-site are expected to leave at midnight.
The Legacy of Your Day
By holding your wedding at Bore Place, the legacy of your big day will live on. All profits from weddings held here are directed straight back into our educational programmes to support young people, promote sustainability and an eco-friendly agenda. Bore Place is committed to working towards being a model of sustainable living. From the energy we use to the food we produce and the way we work, Bore Place challenges conventional ideas and behaviours with fresh thinking. For us being a ‘not for profit’ is something we are really proud of and enables us to lead in the areas of sustainable living and social change we believe in.
