Hazel Hurdles

Learn how to split long, thin rods in half, then use them to weave a strong traditional wattle panel to take home.

Hazel will be available to buy at the end of the session so that you can carry on making your hurdles at home.

Start: 9.30am tea/ introductions for 10am start.

Lunch: approx 1pm - 2pm. Please bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks will be provided.

Finish: approx 4.30pm.

The course is run by John Waller, Underwoodsman at Bore Place and owner of the Green Wood workshop.

Make a weekend of it!

Depending on availability, we can offer B&B at Bore Place for course participants from £61 per person/night. Camping opportunities are limited; we have a hot shower and toilets, but no cooking facilities. It is essential that you contact us in advance to book either camping, or bed and breakfast.
