Pumpkins and cows!
Children will choose and harvest their own organic pumpkin from our vegetable garden then carve it into a spooky Jack O' Lantern. Then bake delicious cheese scones to enjoy with pumpkin soup. After their warming lunch children will learn all about organic dairy farming on a guided tour of our farm and even watch the cows being milked.
This session is most suited to children aged 5-11 years. Older or younger children are welcome to attend if parents/carers wish to book. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (no charge).
Charge includes scone and soup lunch (for accompanying adult too!)
What to wear
All our half term events include time spent outdoors around the farm, gardens and trails, so everyone attending must dress for the weather and bring wellies which are essential for a visit to the farm!
