Milk and honey
Most suited to children aged 7+ years
Celebrate spring and make sweet honey bee cookies (with honey from our Bore Place bees) and a beeswax candle. Discover the important role bees have in our food production and take a guided tour around our dairy farm to find out how our daily milk is made.
There will be a demonstration from the tutor ahead of the cooking activity, and a recipe available for you to take home. Children will work together in pairs for the baking activity, and share their treats between them to take home.
